The Teej 2014 is on its way. It is a unique Nepalese festival observed by women for wellness of their husband. But the idea of the festival has been broadened in recent years with the involvement of more and more men, modern music and good food.
It is also an opportunity for the social groups and organisations to expand their social reach and collect some funds for the good cause.
Just like the years before, Lions Sydney Nepal Himalaya, a not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney is hosting a fundraising night with full of good food and fun.
"The raised funds will go to Laxmi Pratisthan and will help in the variety of projects the NGO is involved in. In addition, we will also endeavour to run mobile health camps with the fund collected," club's Secretary Anooz Shrestha said.
The event will be hosted on 16th August. Click here to view the event details.
